Reebok Men's Zig Pulse II Running Shoe Review
Get the most out of your workout in the Reebok ZigPulse II men's training shoe. The ZigTech outsole allows key muscles to do less work while conserving and returning energy for a soft and springy ride. DMX Shear cushioning minimizes shock on impact, and the PU sockliner adds a soft touch.
Zig Pulse II is like an energy drink for your feet. As Reebok’s most technically advanced training shoe to date, ZigTech allows key leg muscles to do less, so you can do more. Its patented sole technology conserves and returns energy for a soft and springy ride.
These are great for someone looking for a light weight running shoe with good cushioning. I did go up a half size over what I wear in Nike. I have a high arch and use a commercial orthotic insole. My perscription insoles wouldn't fit though. They seem very stable, which is good because I over-pronate and I have a weak ankle. I am not a high-mileage runner. I have about 15 miles on these so far and I don't see any wear on the mesh upper, which is a place I have seen some complaints in other reviews. They make a cross trainer that has a leather upper, so if you are planning on wearing these as a walker or every day shoe, I'd go with those. The material that they use for the sole is more like foam, so they look like they could wear out a little sooner than a rubber sole, but that's probably why they are so comfortable. They are the most comfortable running shoe I have ever owned.
